got my new haircut

i didn't want my hair to be cut short so i opted for a layered hairstyle with side bangs... i just so love it and i would like to thank my stylist for my new look... i finally found the stylist that i have been looking for so long... she, i mean he, well he's gay... just know how to deal with customer's needs... i love it....

invisible mode again

whenever you sign in to YM, you have 3 options to tick. the remember my id & password, sign in automatically and sign in as invisible to everyone ... the first and second option are self explanatory but the third option really dazes me. what's with the invisible mode that makes it special? perhaps, if you don't want others to see you online and you don't want to be bothered at all, well then, you might opt for this... but i just don't get it... you sign in to YM primarily to chat, right? if for any reason, you don't want to be disturbed, why sign-in in the first place? as for me, i hate it when someone who appears to be offline sends me a PM... chatting is far from hide and seek... it's the easiest way to communicate to someone regardless of the distance and the time difference... so for those of you who are on my messenger list, please refrain from sending me PMs if you appear offline... you may have other reasons for it but i will not go out of my way to...

going gaga over fated to love you

fated to love you / sticky note girl... whatever the title is... i don't give a damn... i'm currently on my desk and i can't help but smile whenever i think of this tv series. was able to grab a copy of it last saturday but didn't have much time to watch it... i watched some episodes last tuesday and had watched the entire dvd last night which made my eyes drool right now... the dvd showed some behind the scenes, bloopers and even the part where ethan ruan was challenged to swim naked...he's a hunk and i won't be surprised if he has gained a lot of fans from all over the world... both joe chen and ethan ruan gave justice to their roles and by merely watching the behind the scenes, mind you, the part where cindy and steven had a kissing scene in the hotel lobby made me wander... it was really hard to kiss and act with all those people watching and lurking around... being an actor and an actress is no joke. all in all, i loved this series and i am looking fo...

126 pounds? not so me!!!

for months, i have been struggling to lose weight... i have tried laxatives... i have avoided eating rice... i have stayed away from red meat and carbonated drinks doesn't even exist in my vocabulary... but did you know that the more i push myself hard to dieting, the more i gain weight... though a little bit hesitant, i confronted my weighing scale... and do you know what's so shocking? i now weigh a hundred and twenty six pounds.... just try to imagine that i don't have an ideal weight already...what happened? what went wrong? could have been the weighing scale but no, its not it...but it's me... i still have to allow my weight issue to sink in my head... it's just so unbearable... i am so overweight and i wonder where all these mass came from.... i hate myself... tomorrow, i promise myself not to eat anything...i'll fast for as long as i want and i'll fast as long as i can!!!!

summer get-away

so soon... since february, i have been planning for our summer get-away... too bad, i was having second thoughts on where to go and what to do's... first, there's bohol.... then, there's coron, palawan.... then, there's boracay... then, finally there's bohol once again... okay. let's stop right here before i think about davao and cdo-camiguin....i have always been fickle minded and i really can't make up my mind where to go... i can't be in three places at the same time so i have to choose before p would even think of banging my head on the wall... wink...wink... so what's with bohol? well, boholanos would surely know the answer but as for me who's been down south all my life, bohol is the place to be... there's chocolate hills, there are tarsiers, there's loboc river, there's mag-aso falls, there's baclayon church and baclayon museum, there's the blood compact site, there's hinagdanan cave, there's sagbayan peak, ther...

obsessed with jewelry making

i am so obsessed with swarovski crystals right now. i have been taught by cherry (a good friend) to make my own set of jewelries using different kinds of beads and swarovski crystals. my personal collection rapidly increases whenever a new design comes to mind. the picture on the left shows the materials that i'll be using for my next project. now, i have my own set of tools for jewelry making. thanks to ARS, she was the one who took the effort to finally find the tools that i need and the ones that i really like. it has always been out of stock and i almost ended up buying the same tools cherry has been using.

beware of counterfeit bills

don't be a victim... beware of counterfeit bills... my officemate was a victim and believe me, you would hardly notice it unless you scrutinize it. it was a fake one hundred peso bill... so be careful in dealing with your bills... you'll never know if you'll be the next victim.

friday the 13th

it's friday the 13th and it's the second for the year 2009.... some say it's bad luck. be it myth or fact, that's still an understatement. ever wonder why... in tall buildings, there's no 13th floor there's no 13th street or 13th avenue if you have 13 letters in your name, you'll have devil's luck ahhh.... so many superstitions.... it doesnt bother me at all if it's friday the 13th. all i know is that i'll be hearing mass tonight. for those of you who still believe in superstitions, just be cautious and be safe.... God bless us all.

life aint no fairy tale

We used to think that life is a fairy tale… Full of magic, exciting, vivid.. But that was a long time ago…. Now we know that there’s more to life than just happily ever after. We've learned that we get wiser each day… And no fairy can lead us to happy ending. We decide, we struggle and somehow we begin to understand that we have the power to make each day better than yesterday...

that which annoys me over and over again

ang tanungin ng tanong na alam naman ng nagtatanong ang sagot... (common sense, why ask questions that you already know the answer) ang pakialaman ang mahabang buhok ko... (don't give a damn if its long... i love my hair the way it is) ang pintasan kung anong kinakain ko... (i don't belong to the upper class and i eat what i can afford) ang sabihan akong pangit... (did i ever tell the world that i'm beautiful? purposely, i didn't because what matters most is that in God's eyes, everything/everyone is beautiful) ang sabihan akong maarte (depends on how you define the word maarte) ang sabihan akong ilocana (duh, as if i was born and raised up north! i've been here down south all my life!!!) at ang pinaka-huli, ang sabihing walang kwenta ang blog ko! (if you think my blog is not even worth reading, well then, why are you here in the first place?)

whole wheat bread

i haven't been eating rice these days. i only consume four slices of whole wheat bread a day, a can of tuna in brine, fruits, a hard-boiled egg and veggies which include lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber. no fruit juices, no cola and no caffeine. i already got used to it now and i no longer crave for rice meals.. once in a while, i still eat white meat but a big no-no on red meats. whole wheat breads are rich in dietary fiber and it is very high in manganese and selenium. and when it comes to wheat breads, i only trust gardenia... of course, as a consumer, we always want something that's fresh and has good quality. and gardenia, shall i say, is the brand that you can really count on when it comes to breads. when purchasing gardenia breads, i'm sure you would notice the plastic clip on it indicating the price of the bread and its expiration date. but did you know that these plastic clips are color coded so that the consumer will know when the bread were produced? each colo...

an effect that caused...

kung ayaw mong saktan, wag kang manakit... kung ayaw mong mabastos, wag kang mambastos... kung ayaw mong pagdudahan, wag kang magduda... kung ayaw mong iwan, wag kang mang-iwan... (one thing i learned about life... everything you say or do always comes back to you...)

tagaytay trip

the long wait is over... for 8 months that i've never been to tagaytay , me and my roommate che were able to push through with the planned day trip to tagaytay ... here's a recap of our itinerary... at approximately 7:15 a.m. we were already at the bus terminal in edsa taft . the bus left at around 7:30 bound to tagaytay .... almost 9:00 a.m. we were already in olivarez plaza... our first stop was in lourdes church since che had never seen the new church yet... our photo op lasted for two hours and we really had a great time goofing in front of the camera. from the church main entrance to the grotto, well we really had a lot of pictures then. about two hundred i guess... since, rotonda crossing is just a few meters away from the church, che and i decided to just take a walk to feel the cool breeze in tagaytay . there i saw the boutique, days hotel and other hotels as well. at around 11:00 a.m. we were already having our early lunch in chowking . our next stop, picnic gr...
