whole wheat bread

i haven't been eating rice these days. i only consume four slices of whole wheat bread a day, a can of tuna in brine, fruits, a hard-boiled egg and veggies which include lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber. no fruit juices, no cola and no caffeine.
i already got used to it now and i no longer crave for rice meals.. once in a while, i still eat white meat but a big no-no on red meats.
whole wheat breads are rich in dietary fiber and it is very high in manganese and selenium. and when it comes to wheat breads, i only trust gardenia... of course, as a consumer, we always want something that's fresh and has good quality. and gardenia, shall i say, is the brand that you can really count on when it comes to breads. when purchasing gardenia breads, i'm sure you would notice the plastic clip on it indicating the price of the bread and its expiration date. but did you know that these plastic clips are color coded so that the consumer will know when the bread were produced? each color corresponds to the day. there were posts that are a bit confusing with regards to the color coded g-locks gardenia is using so i checked their site www.gardenia.com.ph just to make sure and i found this:

What SOCIAL MEDIA teaches us

Too much exposure to socmed won't do you any good. As what others often say, anything that's too much is DANGEROUS. I am proud to say that I belong to the GEN-X who are believed to be resourceful, independent and we know how to work hard and yet play harder.   Well apparently, there are some who belongs to our generation who are so much consumed with socmed but there are still those, just like me, who would rather take a nap rather than browse anything and everything on the net.  I'm an introvert that is why I prefer blogging over vlogging. I value my privacy so much that I opted not to post regularly on facebook, instagram etc. Enough of my explanation, though. I just want to share some insights on the negative effects of socmed.   Think before you click, that's what you often hear but come to think of it. A lot often forget to think before they click. I have read a lot of offensive words, nasty comments and uncalled for statements written by other people. It...

ranting about my weight

i practically don't have a weighing scale at home, simply because i'm not that conscious with my figure... most of the time, i eat what i crave for and there's no stopping me...wink...wink... but lately, everyone has been ranting about my weight except me... i've posted on my previous post that i gave up my low carb-no red meat diet since the time i transferred to my new place and probably, that's the reason behind my bulging tummy... and then it hit me! from 110 lbs. i'm already weighing 120 lbs. i hate to exagg on the matter but gaining 10 lbs in just 6 months was a complete disaster...now is the right time to minimize my food intake but not sacrificing the nutrients that my body needs in order to function well... goodbye, red meat... goodbye fats...goodbye carbonated drinks!!! hello, fruits and veggies... but then again, i'm not doing this for anybody...i'm doing this crash diet for myself...
