i haven't been eating rice these days. i only consume four slices of whole wheat bread a day, a can of tuna in brine, fruits, a hard-boiled egg and veggies which include lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber. no fruit juices, no cola and no caffeine.
i already got used to it now and i no longer crave for rice meals.. once in a while, i still eat white meat but a big no-no on red meats.
whole wheat breads are rich in dietary fiber and it is very high in manganese and selenium. and when it comes to wheat breads, i only trust gardenia... of course, as a consumer, we always want something that's fresh and has good quality. and gardenia, shall i say, is the brand that you can really count on when it comes to breads.
when purchasing gardenia breads, i'm sure you would notice the plastic clip on it indicating the price of the bread and its expiration date. but did you know that these plastic clips are color coded so that the consumer will know when the bread were produced? each color corresponds to the day. there were posts that are a bit confusing with regards to the color coded g-locks gardenia is using so i checked their site www.gardenia.com.ph just to make sure and i found this:
