haircut dilemma

I've always had long hair. To date, my hair already touches my waist but it has grown this much cause I no longer trust stylists here in Manila...
dilemma # 1
bangs looked good on me since high school and i asked a woman from the parlor to just cut my bangs. as in straight bangs, not layered bangs... but it turned out that she insisted what she wants. A layered bangs that made me a gladys guevarra look-alike! Since then, ako na lang ang naggugupit ng bangs ko!
dilemma # 2
when i was younger, i've had a problem with a certain brand of shampoo. my mom would always buy this brand even if i keep on telling her that it doesn't suit me well. i'm having dandruff with it... when i went to the salon, that woman kept on telling me that I have flakes all over. she was like repeating it over and over again that it annoyed me. there were like other customers seated just meters way from me and they probably hear what this hair cutter has to say... i know, having dandruff is just so embarrasing...but the thing is, do i deserve to be humiliated that way? they get paid for the services, not for humiliating their customers.
dilemma # 3
some salons would try anything and everything to offer you some of their services... i refused the offer primarily because i didn't need the treatment... but they kept on bugging me... they just stopped the moment i told them that if it's for free, i would gladly accept the offer.
dilemma # 4
i told the stylist that i want a layered haircut which is not quite short... i trusted her but after a few minutes i just felt that she had cut my hair so short at the back and long layers on the side. i looked like a total freak... i ended up cutting it short so as to avoid other people from teasing me!
dilemma # 5
i was up for a trim and this lady receptionist told me that i have to pay them double their original price because my hair is a bit long. i just asked her why and she couldn't even tell me the main reason. it was all explained to me by their senior stylist. they're charging me that amount because of the electricity that they'll be consuming to blow dry my hair... well, just to end that conversation, i asked the senior stylist to just cut my hair 2 inches minus the blowdry!!!
with all these things that had happened in the past, do you think i would still be able to pay the nearest salon a visit? no way!!! i'd rather grow my hair and would rather ask my friend to trim my hair at least once a month...
there are a lot of women who are so fortunate enough to end up with the right stylist. as for me, it's always bad luck!

Sunflower crackers will be banned???

I just so love sunflower garlic flavored crackers....my roommate naman has a container of sunflower crackers in cheese...pero it's been two months na since she last bought it pero until now, di pa nya nauubos.... i don't have a sweet-tooth, really and i haven't tasted even one of their cream-filled crackers...buti na lang, kasi just recently, may possibility yatang i-ban ang mga ito for public consumption...base kasi sa ginawang pagsusuri ng Hongkong Center for Food Safety sa Sunflower blueberry cream sandwich crackers na gawa ng Croley Foods dito sa Pilipinas, may mataas na content ng melamine ang produktong ito... Kaya for health reasons, please refrain from eating sunflower cream-filled crackers muna for now, hangga't hindi na tayo nakasisigurado sa masamang idudulot nito sa ating kalusugan, kung meron man...Sa pagkakaalam ko, as of this writing, isinasagawa na ang pagsusuri ng BFAD para malaman kung ligtas ba ito o hindi... What SOCIAL MEDIA teaches us

Too much exposure to socmed won't do you any good. As what others often say, anything that's too much is DANGEROUS. I am proud to say that I belong to the GEN-X who are believed to be resourceful, independent and we know how to work hard and yet play harder.   Well apparently, there are some who belongs to our generation who are so much consumed with socmed but there are still those, just like me, who would rather take a nap rather than browse anything and everything on the net.  I'm an introvert that is why I prefer blogging over vlogging. I value my privacy so much that I opted not to post regularly on facebook, instagram etc. Enough of my explanation, though. I just want to share some insights on the negative effects of socmed.   Think before you click, that's what you often hear but come to think of it. A lot often forget to think before they click. I have read a lot of offensive words, nasty comments and uncalled for statements written by other people. It...
