beauty regimen

I hate my complexion... I didn't inherit my moms' fair complexion... And with the desperate urge to whiten my skin, I've tried different whitening products from soaps to lotions... None of these ever worked out...
Just one thing that I've realized though, after years of trying so hard to whiten my skin even just a bit, you have to appreciate what God has given you.... All you have to do is maintain that radiant healthy skin... Here are my tips to stay beautiful!
1. Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water everyday.
2. Drink tomato juice every morning to achieve rosy cheeks.
3. Take Vitamin E everyday.
4. Avoid eating too much red meat with fats.
4. Scrub your skin with equal amounts of olive oil and sugar at least thrice a week.
5. Consume fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish your skin.
6. Get at least eight hours of sleep every night.
7. Exercise.
8. Use loofah when bathing.
9. For your feet, try soaking it to warm water with baking soda and after 20 minutes, scrub it with a pumice stone.
10. Control anger to control wrinkles.
Now you know what my beauty secrets are... Hope it'll help... I'll be posting some glowing pics of mine when the right time comes...
Remember that it's not the expensive make-up that makes us all beautiful. Being beautiful comes from within, staying happy and feeling young as ever...
Have a nice day girls...

cause and effect

It's not a secret, I came from a broken home. My dad left us when I was 9 and he met his other woman while he was just working abroad. It started out as a not-so-serious kind of thing until he got the girl pregnant. It was my mom who helped my dad to land a job in EEI and when they parted ways and sold some of their conjugal properties (including the almost-done house in Lipa , Batangas ), my dad was never able to step foot again in K.S.A. It was a trying time for me. I never had a dad who would be there to support me not just financially but emotionally, too. I salute my mom for making ends meet just to give me a brighter future. I took up a course in I.T. at that time but I landed a job in admin. Since then, I have always been the bread winner. If my dad didn't leave us, I might have taken up law. I might have pursued my dream. But everything happened for a reason and I know God has his ways. Growing up was never easy. I got used to the fact that my mom pampered me so much. ...
